COVID-19 and Subha Veera Pandian - Comments on Athivarathar

April 12, 2020:

COVID-19 (Intro):

The whole world is suffering from Corona (COVID-19) virus.  This virus mutates itself.  I was trying to understand what mutation means here and understood that the virus can take different forms.  That means it can behave differently based on conditions and human bodies.  That is why some people get symptoms of dry cough and fever,  some don't get any symptoms at all.

Drugs:

Malaria drug "Hydro-oxy-Chloroquine" is working for some people.  For some others, the plasma from a recently survived COVID-19 person works.  Plasma means some of the red/white corpuscules from a person who has the same blood group can be a drug for a person who is fighting the virus.

Preventions:

Also, possible preventions for the virus are (as far as I know, if you know any which I miss, please share it in the comments):

  1. Social distancing (The Virus is passed to another person by an infected person in terms of saliva or water droplets coming out from the infected person, ex. sneezing, talking even sometimes in the air as well.  So keep your distance) and stay at home as possible.
  2. Cover your entry points with a mask.  Mainly nose, mouth and eyes.
  3. If you have to go out, please do the following.  Cover your face with appropriate masks.  If you don't get a mask, please use a handkerchief or a towel to cover your face.  Prior to covering, apply coconut or any edible oil on your eyes, nose nostrils.
  4. Wash your hands with soap in a frequent interval.  When you go out and come back, please first wash your hands with soap.
  5. Make sure you keep the things you buy or bring from outside in the sun for some time.  Then try to clean it with turmeric water (for edible things) and for non-edible items, you can use sanitizers.
  6. Gargle with salt and warm water 3 times a day.

ACT RESPONSIBLY:

In case you feel you have any symptoms, please quarantine yourselves in a room and don't go out.  Try to cover yourselves completely.  There is no single medicine that can cure you now (as of this moment).  If you are in the US, try to reduce your fever and fight out with some on the counter paracetamol medicines (like Tylenol)  and some throat numbing sprays.  If you cannot breathe or difficulty in breathing, persistent pain or pressure in the chest, consult your physicians.

I don't want to talk about any negative factors.  However, in such a painful time, Subha Veera Pandian is talking about the faiths of certain religious groups.  This is certainly unwarranted and unnecessary.

Let us all stand united (in a safe distance) by heart and fight the real virus and not the parasites.  We  will deal about them later once this pandemic is over.
